God loves us so much. We are his children. He is all knowing, all seeing. Although He is in control, He still gives us free will and independence. I’ve always thought that the hardest thing to give my children is their independence. You have to let them make a choices. Some of them will be wrong. Some of them may be downright dangerous. You can teach them at home as long as you have their attention. The best thing a parent can do in my opinion is give them yourself. Time. Being completely present with them and giving them your full attention. Be the example you want them to be. If they are distracted by their phone or watching TV, they may be in the same room with you, but they are not really honoring /giving you their presence. Hopefully, they absorb enough of your knowledge and experience as a parent that they will make good choices as an adult. It’s very possible that your children will get themselves into bad situations. (sometimes because they didn’t ask your advice, or they asked your advice and didn’t take it). When they are adults, sometimes all you can do is just let them know that you love them despite any decision they make, or any pickle they get themselves into. Your love for them never changes and you will always be there for them.
